Garden Center
Bard Nurseries garden center covers nearly 4 acres of land and is the resident for over 22 greenhouses! Our garden center is open year round and always fully stocked with fresh plants! Bard Nurseries has an outstanding reputation for providing the highest quality and well maintained nursery stock. Our knowledgeable staff prides themselves in providing top quality trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, hardgoods, garden art and supplies and planting materials. We have listed a couple of our areas of specialties below.
Trees
We carry a large selection of deciduous, flowering and evergreen trees. Our selection includes many different sizes and shapes. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Just ask and we will locate it for you. We make sure that our trees are grown in our same climate and can withstand this area’s ever changing weather. Stop in and check them out!
Shrubs
At Bard's we carry a wide variety of common and hard to find shrubs all at great prices! Our plants are climate compatible and well cared for all year long. Here is just a small list of some of the shrubs we continually stock:

Perennials
Our selection of perennials blows our competition away. We carry your traditional perennials as well as the latest varieties. We also offer family value right priced perennials throughout the year that are just right for your budget. Need help designing your perennial garden? We can help. Our knowledgeable staff can help you create and design your very own perennial garden. We are always full of creative ideas and are ready to share them with you.
Annuals
Annuals are one of the easiest and best ways to express your personality in your landscaping. Our annual selection can’t be beat! We carry your faithful annuals such as Marigold’s, Impatiens’s, Petunia’s and Begonia’s and we carry new varieties such as Sunbather’s, Sunset Gazania, Scarlet & Rose Gold Dahlia, and Baby Wing White Begonia’s. Most of our annuals are grown on-site in our very own greenhouses and get the best love and care right from the start! We also carry empty hanging baskets, pots and shepherd hooks for your flowering needs. Lacking time or creativity? No worries. 
Let us help you design and plant your containers for you. Just pick out the flowers and container you like and we will do the planting for you. Or you can purchase one of our many preplanted containers for your convince. There is always something blooming at Bard’s!
Pesticides & Insecticides
At Bard’s, we care about our environment, that’s why we carry a large selection of eco friendly pesticides. We recommend Fertilome, High-Yield and many others. We strongly recommend consulting one of our knowledgeable staff members for advice and directions for the right treatment. When in doubt, just ask!
Grass Seed
Bard Nurseries, Inc. believes that nothing feels better that a soft lush green lawn beneath your feet. We carry our most popular grass seed, Bard Mix, and we also carry Fertilome and ExecuTurf grass seed which is one of the highest quality blended grass seed on the market today. Our expert sales staff can help with any step of your lawn process whether you’re just starting your lawn, trying to spruce it up, or experiencing a problem with your current lawn. We also carry seed for full sun lawns or part shade lawns. We have a seed for you.
Hardgood’s
Our hardgoods department consists of a multitude of different items. We carry everything from mulch and topsoil to garden wire art and spreaders. In our mulch selection you can purchase black mulch, dyed black mulch, several different types of hardwood mulch, and pine straw and pine nuggets. If you’re not sure which one you are looking for, please visit our display and view a sample of each one. All of our mulch comes in bags that are easy to carry and virtually mess free! Potting mix, Garden Magic compost, and topsoil are essentials for all jobs and your landscaping won’t be complete without them. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
